Go Tar Heels!

so let me remind you of a few things:
1. my hubby is a HUGE fan of university of north carolina basketball.
2. it is march which means madness.
3. 42"plasma tv's are cool to get for free.
as i'm sure you are aware (unless you live in a cave) it is march madness. unc usually does well. but this year we are hoping they do really well. because: if they take the whole thing we win a 42" plasma tv. which is something i would NEVER pay money for. but hey, i'd take it. so here's how lucky my husband is (actually i told him it was MY irish luck). there's a radio station here that took the first 64 people to sign up on their website and randomly assigned them to one of the 64 teams in march madness and if it's the team you are assigned to that wins the whole sha-bang you get a 42" plasma tv. as the luck o' the irish would have it: E got his own team! which is not only cool because they are his team, but also because they have a great shot of winning! i guess i should start moving the furniture. anybody want to buy an old tv?

Mom: N, how did you get to be so smart?
N: mmmm.... probably from watching PBS Kids.

*****

the other day i took N to the my office. as the other DH was cleaning my teeth she asked N, "How many teeth do you think your mommy has?" N replied, "Oh, she's got plenty."

And this is for you j.timms, she kept telling me things to tell the people at work and she kept saying, "tell them there's a boy named blake." "Tell them i am going to marry him."

******
N is currently under the impression that she has a baby in her belly. Hope she's not disappointed....

******
for about the last week N comes to me in the mornings and says, "mommy, i was so worried about you."

Our Lellow House

so here it is, the post you've all been waiting for. the yellow house is ours. we have started moving in. here's pictures before we moved in. not pictured are the kitchen, a third bedroom on the main floor, the storage room and the garage and yard. we've got a lot of work ahead of us. but we already love our , as N would say, "lellow house."

This is the apartment upstairs. that's right, fully furnished! wow! it's actually really a cute little apartment.

still in the basement. this is... umm... where old ladies take a bath?

so now we are in the basement: bathroom , laundry area, groovy carpet, bedroom and family room
this is the master bedroom. yes, that is a lot of mirrors, but it's also a lot of closet space and it's bigger than we thought. we actually have room for our bed and both dressers and can open the drawers on the dressers!

oh, pink bathroom. how i love you. your foil wall paper (on ceiling, too!) makes it easier to find my reflection. your lack of a shower helps me get exercise by going down stairs to shower. the panelling and tiling, just really say, " i used to be the coolest bathroom on the block!". wow. pinkbathroom, you're the best! BTW i entered this bathroom in contest at better homes and gardens. starting in april you get to vote for the worst room to win a makeover. i'll send ya'll an email to remind you to vote for my bathroom.

natalie's room. that window looks out to the front. you can't see in this picture but that closet is twice as long as it shows. finally! a place for all the toys, toys, toys!

the "lellow" house

this is the living room and dining room, first picture is from the back looking to the front, 2nd is a weird rock wall, (waivers must be signed BEFORE climbing!), and the 3rd is looking from the front to the back. behind the mirror and "fireplace" is a window seat. can you believe it? i want to rip it out, cause window seats are awesome, but who knows what we'll end up doing
