so let me remind you of a few things:
1. my hubby is a HUGE fan of university of north carolina basketball.
2. it is march which means madness.
3. 42"plasma tv's are cool to get for free.
as i'm sure you are aware (unless you live in a cave) it is march madness. unc usually does well. but this year we are hoping they do really well. because: if they take the whole thing we win a 42" plasma tv. which is something i would NEVER pay money for. but hey, i'd take it. so here's how lucky my husband is (actually i told him it was MY irish luck). there's a radio station here that took the first 64 people to sign up on their website and randomly assigned them to one of the 64 teams in march madness and if it's the team you are assigned to that wins the whole sha-bang you get a 42" plasma tv. as the luck o' the irish would have it: E got his own team! which is not only cool because they are his team, but also because they have a great shot of winning! i guess i should start moving the furniture. anybody want to buy an old tv?

ReplyDeletewhat is a tar heel anyways? Looks to be like some sort of ram with oil drills for its horns, is that an accurate guess?
we had the same conversation the other day. i thought a tar heel was an native american. because many of there emblems for unc are actually the sole of a foot with a black blob on the heel (actually it may be a star). so bottom line, we don't know, but we know we love 'em. actually, eddie loves, i just jumped on the band wagon.
