Happy Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to our princess!
Me: N. what do you want for christmas?
N: A blue dinosaur.
Me (did she really just say that?): A blue dinosaur?
N: yeah.
Me: What kind of cake do you want for your birthday?
N: Mmmm. a pirate cake.
Me (again, not sure i heard right): A pirate cake?
N: Mmmhmmm. a pirate cake.

Where has my ribbons and bows princess gone?
well, as you can tell, we discussed a few more options and she was happy to see a snow white cake. which was actually lots more fun to make than i had thought it would be. N is so much fun. we love her to pieces. i have been so nervous for her to turn three and go right into sunbeams. although i haven't been able to catch her in action myself, i have been assured that she does just fine. which makes me so pleased. this sunday i picked her up from her class and took her to get our coats. she kept saying, "where's daddy?" and kept telling her he was still in his class, but he would be there soon. then she started to cry. i picked her up and asked what was that matter. she said,"i'm just worried about my daddy." then later at home when i was telling E about it she said, "i didnt want to leave with out you, daddy." she is so sweet. she has lots of enthusiasm and energy and makes our lives so great. we love our princess.
